New year resolutions and its Palava

  I woke up that morning and reached for my phone, I checked the date on my device and behold it was that time again!! 31st of Dec.
 I picked up my notepad and started writing. 30mins later I was done and three pages of the notepad was full.. "HIAN!! Na me sha get new year resolution pass for the whole world" I said to myself as I studied the list once more.
  Its funny how every year I do this same stuff and at the end I never follow through. Am I weak? Or is it a human trait? How come we always plan but at the end nothing goes as planned? Eg last year I had decided to break up with Dayo and I even swore to my friends but Dayo had to go and propose and now am hitched to him like we are siamese twins.
  Tsssswwww!! I hissed, as I saw the number 4 resolution on my list, I had decided to ditch my friend Tracy. "Kai! That girl get for hand" I murmured, and I wonder why am still even friends with her. I moved on to number 5 and laughed, number 5 involved reading every day for at least 2 hours. (Like I would ever do that,but it was worth a try) , by the time I was done reading through the list,I got angry and tore it all the while angry.
  I threw the useless paper away and got up from my bed. Biko I would live 2014 as it comes and pray to God that he leads and guide's me to do the right things at all times, after all my plans are not His plans and I can write for all eternity and still not have the discipline to follow through but only God can help me and so with that in mind, I knelt down to pray and committed 2014 into His able hands
